Edgar Cayce, the Sleeping Prophet

 

A big idea tied to Cayce is the “AkashicRecords.”

One of the most famous names in American esotericism in the 20th century is Edgar Cayce (1877–1945), often called the “Sleeping Prophet.” For most of his life, Cayce held thousands of sessions where he’d go into a trance-like state and answer questions about health, spirituality, reincarnation, dreams, and even past events. These sessions were written down later and became known as “readings,” which are basically the core of his legacy.
